Founded in 1981, Great Lakes Computer Corporation is the Midwest’s leading resource for information technology installation, support, maintenance, repair, and network consulting services.

Originally, GLC was founded as an IBM mid-range product sales and equipment brokerage company. Building on its original strength in the IBM products arena, GLC began servicing AS/400 systems in 1988. Since that time GLC has broadened its product range to include computer systems, storage devices, printers, plotters and Point-of-Sales (POS) equipment from most major manufactures including:

Today, GLC provides Contract Maintenance and repair services for all types of businesses, local, state and federal government agencies throughout the Untied States.

The next major growth area began as PC computer networking began to infiltrate the business marketplace in the early 1990’s. As the PC server and desktop started to displace the large main-frame systems, support for this new PC network became a growing demand. GLC began to support these networks and that support group has developed into the Managed Service Program (MSP) of today. The MSP program utilizes state-of the-art technology to solve network problems BEFORE they happen. The primary focus of the GLC Managed Service Program is the Small & Medium business marketplace and the primary goal is to help those businesses increase their level of support while reducing the overall cost of that support.
