A generation ago, a handful of “ordinary people” began meeting together out of a growing concern for America. Their conversations, prayers, and research led to the founding of an “extraordinary” public policy effort that would blossom into the American Policy Roundtable.

Incorporated in 1995, the Northern Ohio Area Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) was established to provide tangible benefits of chamber membership to local businesses. NOACC has now grown to over 120 chambers of commerce–some volunteer managed, some county-wide in scope–and some of the NOACC chambers have grown ten-fold with the adoption of these benefits.

For more than 10 decades, Christ Child Society members throughout the country have served children and families in diversified ways. Recognizing the current complexity of human problems the program, “Challenging Poverty, One Child At A Time”, was launched in 2003 to help chapters maintain Mary Virginia Merrick’s original mission and to inspire Society members with a broad and exciting scope of volunteer opportunities.
